Why not cater to yourself and other non-drinkers by mixing up some mocktail recipes to enhance your festive celebrations. These non-alcoholic beverages are extraordinarily tasty–and you won’t miss the alcohol.

No Alcohol Is Necessary for These Tasty Drinks

Mocktails are cocktail-like drinks that dispense with alcohol. No alcohol is added and they’re perfect for people who love delectable beverages but don’t want the alcohol. Thoughtful hosts and hostesses will generally have non-alcoholic beverage options for guests, but just in case, you might want to whip up some mocktail recipes to bring with you when you attend gatherings with friends and family. Of course, if you’re hosting a holiday party, the following recipes are perfect to serve to all of your guests.

6 Mocktail Recipes for the Holidays

Consider the following mocktail recipes. They include a diverse range of ingredients. Choose a few recipes that suit your preferences. Serve them up in elegant glassware and garnish them for your holiday-worthy offerings. You and your guests are sure to enjoy them.

Cranberry-Pomegranate Sparklers

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup of cranberry juice
  • ½ cup of pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup sugar (less if your juice is already sweetened)
  • 4 ounces of club soda
  • Squeeze of lime juice
  • Whole cranberries and lime slices for garnish

Add a refreshing touch of sparkle to your evening with this cranberry and pomegranate-infused mocktail that’s perfect for a festive gathering. To make this mocktail, you should first prepare a simple syrup by mixing the cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, and sugar; continue to stir it over medium heat until it begins to boil. Reduce heat and stir for another five minutes or until all of the sugar is dissolved in the juice. Pour the mixture in a jar and chill it in the refrigerator until you are ready to use it.

To mix the mocktail, pour an ounce of your simple syrup into a champagne flute or another glass. Then, add your club soda and squeeze of lime. Garnish your mocktail with a toothpick skewer of lime slices and cranberries for a festive red-and-green holiday treat.

Fizzy Raspberry Punch

Ingredients:

  • 1 pint of raspberry sherbet
  • 5 cups ginger ale
  • 4 cups tropical punch
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • ½ cup cranberry juice

This mocktail punch will add a bright red pop of color to your table and is perfect for serving party guests. Chill all of your ingredients and grab your punch bowl. Add your juice ingredients to the punch bowl and then slowly pour in the ginger ale; slow pouring allows for maximum fizz. Then scoop out your raspberry sherbet and slowly stir the mixture. Serve in small punch glasses.

Pink Peppermint Chiller

Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce Grenadine
  • 1 can of Sprite or similar lemon-lime soda or lime-flavored sparkling water
  • 1 candy cane for garnish

Looking for an uber-fast mocktail for a last-minute get-together? This pink peppermint chiller is a wintery interpretation of classic Shirley Temple but, no alcohol, of course, and it features a fun minty garnish. Take your glass and pour in about an ounce of grenadine. You can also make your own pomegranate syrup if you prefer. Then, add your soda or sparkling water–whichever you prefer–alone with a few ice cubes. Pop in a candy cane for a final flourish. These mocktails are simple and easy to make, so be sure to keep the ingredients on hand during the holiday season.

Mock Appletini

Ingredients:

  • Apple cider
  • Cinnamon simple syrup (sugar, cinnamon, ginger root)
  • Sugar
  • Cinnamon (and cinnamon stick for garnish)
  • Apple slice (for garnish)

To make this appletastic mocktail, you should plan to make a simple syrup ahead of time. You can adjust the amount depending on the number of guests you plan to serve, but always use a ratio of 1 cup to 1 cup of water and sugar. You should bring your water and sugar to a boil and add in cinnamon and some grated ginger for flavor. After it comes to a boil, stir for about five more minutes. Then pour in a glass jar and place in the refrigerator for use at your party. To make the mock appletini, add apple cider, an ounce of simple syrup, and crushed ice to a shaker. Shake it up and pour into a martini glass that has a rim of cinnamon sugar, taking care to screen the ice. Add an apple slice and cinnamon stick for garnish.

Rudolph’s Red Nosed Mocktails

Ingredients:

1 ounce Monin Granny Smith Apple Syrup

Maraschino cherries

2 ounces of Sprite

3 ounces of Lemonade

You’ll definitely want to serve these red and green mocktails in a clear glass so guests can enjoy their vibrant green hue and bright ‘Rudolphe’ nose, reminiscent of the reindeer’s famous red nose. To make this drink, fill a shaker with crushed ice. Pour in the syrup, lemonade, and Sprite and shake. Pour the drink into a glass and screen the ice. Add a single Maraschino cherry to each glass for the red-nosed effect.

Baby New Year’s Orange Cream Delights

Ingredients:

  • Whipped cream
  • Orange soda or orange-and-vanilla sparkling water
  • Splash of vanilla syrup
  •  Orange slice and orange sprinkles for garnish

Oranges have long been associated with traditional Christmas celebrations. This mocktail recipe is a fun and easy twist on an orange creamsicle drink. Fill your shaker of ice and pour in 5 ounces of orange soda or orange-vanilla sparkling water and a splash of vanilla syrup. Shake well and pour into glasses. You can include ice or not depending on how you prefer it. Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream and garnish with an orange slice and orange sprinkles.
